Place & story
The river crossing
The architectural inventory dates Rossmore Bridge to about 1820. Three low, three-centred arches carry the road over the Multeen River between Rossmore and Coolanga Upper. Rough limestone walling surrounds carefully tooled arch stones, while dressed coping finishes the parapets. On the upstream side, V-shaped cutwaters divide the flow before it passes beneath the arches. [2]
