Place & story
A church lit from the south
St Thomas’s Church has a square western tower and an eastern chancel. The national architectural inventory notes an unusual feature: the nave has no north-facing windows, with larger openings concentrated on its south side. Stone pinnacles and stepped battlements crown the tower. A later vestry adjoins it. The surrounding graveyard, stone boundary walls and iron entrance gates preserve the setting of this Church of Ireland building. [2]
