Place & story
Building for later generations
Saint Joseph’s Secondary School records purchasing an adjoining house and land in 1973 as pupil numbers increased. Fundraising supported a new school building that opened in 1983. The parochial house and gardens were acquired in 1987, followed by a sports hall in 1990. A science laboratory and seven classrooms opened in 1992. The school’s own timeline documents the growth of its campus alongside the widening range of facilities available to its pupils. [2]
