The provisional list
On 18 November 1927, the Land Purchase Commission published a provisional list for Lady Mary Augusta Crichton’s estate. Kilmore was among the Armagh townlands in which she claimed ownership. The notice names James Campbell, Michael Finn and Patrick Donnelly as Kilmore tenants. It describes land intended to vest in the commission on a future appointed day; publication of this list alone does not establish that the transfer had already taken place. [2]
